Markus Persson (a.k.a Notch) announced today on Twitter that his game (Minecraft) had reached 3 million sales. This is very impressive since the game is still only in its Beta stages! He has also said that in the highly anticipated 1.8 adventure update the new mob will be aggressive and its appearance very scary. He will be also adding to the combat system and also there will be harsher penalties if you die in game. But don't worry, it wont mean that your world will be reset, it will probably be a loss of XP or something similar.
